FOR THE FIRST SESSION CREATE A CHARACTER AND SOME IDEA AS TO WHY HE OR SHE HAPPENS TO BE WITHIN THE KINGDOM OF SILVERFROST SPECIFICALLY AT THE THE PEOPLE’S FORT. I’LL TRY TO FIND LINKS TO PDFS OF THE PLAYERS HANDBOOKS FOR ASSISTANCE IN CHARACTER CREATION.

For many ages, the worlds of Artrune, Grug’nak and the Calm Sea have had a somewhat shaky relationship at best. Although their has been peace between worlds since the tragic second dragon war, within these worlds there has been much conflict, and evil forces are stirring at the edges of society, bound to unleash chaos at any moment.

In the human lands, called Artrune, two great kingdoms are arming themselves for a war over international trade issues, leaving the lands between them in a scramble to protect themselves from the gathering storm. In the North, a king has disappeared and leaves the Queen suspecting dark forces at play. In the rainforests of the Secret Lands, tribes are abandoning their homes en mass, immigrating to some unknown destination. In the swamps of the south, the ends of a civil war have left a boy king, who gathers more enemies each day.

Across the sea in Grug’nak, a horrific slaughter has disrupted the status quo of the Fourteen Towers, leaving a struggle for the honor of High Tzar. Rumors of ancient monsters reborn and secret societies of mysterious killers leave the citizens of the society in a state of panic as the Tzars struggle.

Between these two lands, the people of the Calm Sea plan revenge for the destruction of Zaratan, believed by most in this realm to be the birthplace of all life. Magic weapons are being built, holy wars being declared, and captives are being taken.

Soon, the world will be at war once more, but few are aware of the real gravity of the situation. Kingdoms will rise and fall, dragons will soar and the dead will rise. The characters will have to decide how to deal with the consequences of the return of these ancient magics and evils, and maybe even win a few kingdoms in the process.
