Songs of the Seven
The queen of Silverfrost was born to house Horlikae, who rule over Famuth on the Tear Island. This island chiefly grows potatoes, but was able to gain power by using them to create what is considered far and wide to be the greatest vodka in all of Artrune. The people on the Tear Island are a joyous folk, and enjoy rich trade.
Famuth has many festivals and celebrations, which often include huge parties. The lords of the Tear Island have always been known to be socialites rather than warriors. In fact, many in Silverfrost argue that the people of Famuth are too soft. This leads to many who are deemed as such to flee to the Tear Island, only reinforcing this stereotype. However, the people still honor their duty to serve the Order of the Moon, and thus they cannot be denied the honor of calling themselves northmen.
Famuth also boasts a peculiar institution – The Hold of the Lost. This organization is designed to take those who for whatever reason wish to escape the world of Artrune and prepare them to sail the Harsh Sea. Few ever return. However, some do, and what little knowledge the world has of the mysteries of the Harsh Sea come in large part from the Hold of the Lost.
